Really happy with this bridle, lovely soft leather and it is nice and fine for my Arab’s head. Really like the reins too, again not too bulky and lovely quality. Had to swap the browband and throatlash for a bigger size and the returns process and customer service was very good.
The tape was super easy to use and helped me correctly order the right size for my horse.
I love the Henry James leather.. so soft and supple from the minute you take it out the packaging!! I’ve had one bridle for 4 years and still the same quality as the day I bought it!!
I love the smell of leather , beautiful leather reins, perfect length, rode in the rain without gloves, still had very good grip, perfect if got a sweaty horse and the rein get wet.

Honestly this is the nicest thing I have bought in a long time! The leather is so soft and it sits perfectly. I went for extra full as my mare is 17hh and it fits perfectly but there is also lots of room to adjust. Thank you - will slowly change all of my leatherwork to Henry James!
A replacement for a stretched attachment sent next day with no charge. The HJ client experience is second to none. Just ordered another set of reins to go with my new HJ grockle bridle too. Everything is such great quality and fairly priced.
Have been looking for quite a while for some grippy yet soft reins and my search is now over. These “ride” perfectly and will definitely be back soon for the same in black for my dressage bridle.
Great leathers however they were a bit thick to get through my spreger flexcite stirrup irons hole.
I managed but it wasn’t easy.

I knew an off the peg complete bridle wasn’t going to fit my pony, so ordered the bridle fitting tape to double check, and am sure it will save me time and return postage! Really easy to use and confirmed that my pony needs a mix of pony, cob and full parts! Would definitely recommend.
I purchased the V-grip rubber reins after riding out a livery horse for his owner and finding them extremely comfortable in my slowly aging hands. I suffer from dupytrens contraction and have a weakening ability to keep a good grip, often finding reins slipping in my fingers. These reins are perfect for me, they’re not too wide or chunky, or too narrow, they’re reasonably soft and very comfortable in my hands and have sufficient grip that they don’t slip. I’m delighted with them! The leather is also of excellent quality and I was immediately able to attach them to my bridle without any struggle with the billets. An excellent excellent product; I’ll be back for further pairs for my other horses!

I really love the leather work of Henry James, but wasn’t sure which size (full or extra full) I needed for a new horse, so the team helped me out by sending over parts of the bridle then giving a virtual fitting. The delivery was super quick and the feedback really helpful. I hate having to wait ages to get tack sorted, it adds to the stress of a new horse but the service here is really good.
Beautiful quality lovely Soft calf leather well made what else can I say .. the Havana is very dark and more like black but otherwise lovely and worth the money

Following purchasing a bridle before Christmas and loving the quality, I decided to purchase a headcollar. This was just as good and would highly recommend.
These reins are great I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis and have it bad in my hands & fingers I now have these on both bridles for my two horses I can hold the reins so much easier and they don’t slip through my fingers ❤️
