I love the smell of leather , beautiful leather reins, perfect length, rode in the rain without gloves, still had very good grip, perfect if got a sweaty horse and the rein get wet.
These reins are great quality & have great grip, despite the wet weather we’ve been faced with this week!
They are the perfect width too.
Fabulous - absolutely love the quality and grip of the reins. I have osteoarthritis in my hands and the reins are super soft which makes them so much more comfortable to hold when riding.

I ordered an XF bridle for a big dressage gelding. We fitted the bridle using the Henry James tape measure and it is perfect! Lovely leather.
I only use HJ reins, for eventing so I need grip for all weathers and flexibility in my hands. They all tick these boxes and they last really well too. Always look smart.
Goes on so easily but not not sticky. Would definitely recommend 👌

I had bought previously from HJ and loved the quality of the leather. I treated myself to a new bridle because i loved them so much, a month later our tackroom was broken into and cleaned out. The team (Dan) went above and beyond to help me replace my stolen bridles, I can't thank him and the enough. The bridle arrived beautifully packaged alongside the stirrup leathers . I will be buying again once insurance is sorted and replacement saddles have arrived. I'm eyeing up the T bar dressage leathers
