This adjustable bridge breastplate comes with a removable running martingale. The breastplate is fastened by the girth straps under the saddle flap (Double flap) or below the flap (mono flap) and between the horses front legs. Thanks to its girth strap fastening system the breastplate allows the saddle to stay in place.

Breastplate

I was really looking forward to receiving this item to match my bridle and ordered a full for my 16.1 ISH however is was far to big. The lovely people at HJ changed it for me to a cob which fits fine however the girth attachment straps are too short at full length to attach to my Close Contact jump saddle. I therefore asked to buy the straps in a full size but when they arrived they are the same length as the Cob so now sadly I can't use it.
Beautifully made as always though and if you had a standard GP saddle I'm sure it would be great.

Quality product

This is a beautiful bridle.The padded head piece looks smart and very comfortable. The buckles are quality and well finished. Looks smart on my boy!

Great bridle

I had been waiting for the hunter noseband to come out so that I could build a bridle for my Highland Pony. Our dressage marks had deteriorated and there were real issues with inconsistent contact. A bridle fitter had assessed my previous bridle about 18 months before . I had bought the HJ measuring tape which is very easy to use. I was surprised to find that he needed a mix of cob,full and extra full parts. The company were very helpful as I wanted to order before it was actually on the website.
I can only say that his way of going is transformed. He feels SO much happier. He is also jumping more freely. I do hope this is maintained. The leather is lovely and the colour really good as it will not look out of a place with a brown or black saddle- it is a dark brown. Highly recommended!

Lovely quality leather and the first grackle that fits my petite nosed eventer correctly

Beautiful Quality

I have 2 HJ bridles and needed another set of reins as my horse had a small nibble on one set, I was so impressed with HJ products I knew where my 1st place was to look, the leather is beautiful and soft and the reins are comfortable in your hands, reasonably priced and packaged really well
