These reins feature a smooth but grippy rubber pattern with hand stitched leather stoppers every 5cm. A slim lightweight rein suited for all activities, gives a grippy feel.

Fantastic reins

Soft leather, the rubber whilst fine has lots of grip even when wet. Will only buy these reins

Nice Quality

These reins are nice quality and comfy to hold but I was disappointed that the rubber area wasn't longer, there is a large amount of plain leather at the buckle end which I find i am holding when working in a longer frame which I've never experienced with previous reins of the same size.

Fab bridle

Love my Henry James Bridle. I particularly like the fact that it is comfortable for the horse and that you can buy individual pieces. This was important as sadly I had to say goodbye to my large warmblood recently and his TB successor only needed a new noseband instead of a whole new bridle to make it fit. I decided to replace my reins with a different style for my new horse and these look and feel as good as the previous ones. It’s good to see Henry James products in saddler outlets giving more people the opportunity to experience the quality of the range. Highly recommended.

Quality product

This is a beautiful bridle.The padded head piece looks smart and very comfortable. The buckles are quality and well finished. Looks smart on my boy!

Great bridle

I had been waiting for the hunter noseband to come out so that I could build a bridle for my Highland Pony. Our dressage marks had deteriorated and there were real issues with inconsistent contact. A bridle fitter had assessed my previous bridle about 18 months before . I had bought the HJ measuring tape which is very easy to use. I was surprised to find that he needed a mix of cob,full and extra full parts. The company were very helpful as I wanted to order before it was actually on the website.
I can only say that his way of going is transformed. He feels SO much happier. He is also jumping more freely. I do hope this is maintained. The leather is lovely and the colour really good as it will not look out of a place with a brown or black saddle- it is a dark brown. Highly recommended!

I have 2 HJ bridles and needed another set of reins as my horse had a small nibble on one set, I was so impressed with HJ products I knew where my 1st place was to look, the leather is beautiful and soft and the reins are comfortable in your hands, reasonably priced and packaged really well
