This elegant grackle bridle is carefully crafted from the finest English Sedgwick leather and features an anatomic headpiece to offer maximum pressure relief thanks to its cut back anatomical design in conjunction with generous lightweight padding.

The grackle noseband has been designed to help prevent the horse from crossing their jaw and opening their mouth and features soft padding for maximum comfort.

The throat lash strap has been strategically integrated into the headpiece to reduce the bulk in the sensitive TMJ area and allowing for the noseband and cheek piece buckles to lie flat against the horses skin.

I really like the quality of this bridle.
Just one thought you might want to consider. In the picture you have the top part of the figure 8 going over the cheek.
My trainer suggested me to use the last stap hole to make it go under the cheek for comfort. So fortunately, I was able to make the adjustment. I am aware that it is very difficult to fit all types of horses, but the back of the chin strap was very loose on the tightest hole. The brow band was oversized for me as well. Maybe you could give some dimensions.

Super quality & smart bridle

I have noticed a super difference in my horses way of going since using the Henry James bridles.
He feels a lot lighter through my hand & my physio has noticed that his poll is a lot less sensitive since using it.

The bridle is very smart, so perfect for competition use and the leather is lovely quality.

I really love the bridle and can’t wait to purchase more!

Beautiful bridle

I have just bought this bridle and so far i absolutely love it. As a trained saddler myself, who just doesnt have the time to make my own bridle at the moment, I decided to buy one and I can say the leather and workmanship is high quality and beautifully made. I love the design and comfort of the headpiece. My horse definently seems much happier when ridden in it. The delivery was super quick aswell. I highly recommend and will definently buy from henry james saddlery again.

Quality product

This is a beautiful bridle.The padded head piece looks smart and very comfortable. The buckles are quality and well finished. Looks smart on my boy!

Great bridle

I had been waiting for the hunter noseband to come out so that I could build a bridle for my Highland Pony. Our dressage marks had deteriorated and there were real issues with inconsistent contact. A bridle fitter had assessed my previous bridle about 18 months before . I had bought the HJ measuring tape which is very easy to use. I was surprised to find that he needed a mix of cob,full and extra full parts. The company were very helpful as I wanted to order before it was actually on the website.
I can only say that his way of going is transformed. He feels SO much happier. He is also jumping more freely. I do hope this is maintained. The leather is lovely and the colour really good as it will not look out of a place with a brown or black saddle- it is a dark brown. Highly recommended!

I have 2 HJ bridles and needed another set of reins as my horse had a small nibble on one set, I was so impressed with HJ products I knew where my 1st place was to look, the leather is beautiful and soft and the reins are comfortable in your hands, reasonably priced and packaged really well
