Whilst modest in design, this headpiece is not to be underestimated. It utilises the same padding and is cut back enough to provide plenty of space for your horses ears.

Thanks to the headpiece design there is no noseband strap sitting across the poll which can rub or cause pinching.

The throat lash strap has been strategically integrated into the headpiece to reduce the bulk in the sensitive TMJ area and allowing for the noseband and cheek piece buckles to lie flat against the horses skin.

I an highly recommend the Henry James products and team. I have a Connemara which was difficult to get a bridle for not just in size but also for looks. The Henry James totally sorted that for me after towing and throwing we settled on the full size Arc Classic headpiece, full size Noseband and Browband and cob size cheekpieces . She looks stunning and she is going really well in her new bridle and it must be comfortable. for her as she is always ready to put this bridle on. The leather is so soft and supple and really looks and feels top class. I’m so pleased I brought this bridle and we also have a Henry James bridle for our other horse.

Just what I wanted - I looked at a lot of head pieces for my Iberian horse and I am so pleased I chose this one. Really good quality, and importantly I believe my horse finds it comfortable. Like a previous reviewer I think the throat lash configuration is a brilliant idea. I shall be doing some more shopping from Henry James!

This is a beautiful bridle.The padded head piece looks smart and very comfortable. The buckles are quality and well finished. Looks smart on my boy!

Great bridle

I had been waiting for the hunter noseband to come out so that I could build a bridle for my Highland Pony. Our dressage marks had deteriorated and there were real issues with inconsistent contact. A bridle fitter had assessed my previous bridle about 18 months before . I had bought the HJ measuring tape which is very easy to use. I was surprised to find that he needed a mix of cob,full and extra full parts. The company were very helpful as I wanted to order before it was actually on the website.
I can only say that his way of going is transformed. He feels SO much happier. He is also jumping more freely. I do hope this is maintained. The leather is lovely and the colour really good as it will not look out of a place with a brown or black saddle- it is a dark brown. Highly recommended!

Lovely quality leather and the first grackle that fits my petite nosed eventer correctly

Beautiful Quality

I have 2 HJ bridles and needed another set of reins as my horse had a small nibble on one set, I was so impressed with HJ products I knew where my 1st place was to look, the leather is beautiful and soft and the reins are comfortable in your hands, reasonably priced and packaged really well
